Pick the right core for your wire

  • Tungsten carbide — maximum impact & wear resistance
  • Best value for coarse and medium wire, rods & pipes
  • Ideal for steel, stainless steel, bar and tube drawing
  • Robust stainless-steel casings, CNC-machined
  • Typical bore range: Ø 0.5 – 20 mm
  • Polycrystalline diamond (PCD) — the industry workhorse
  • Long service life with uniform crystal structure
  • Typical bore range Ø 0.02 – 20 mm, customizable
  • Copper, aluminium, stainless & alloy wire drawing
  • Excellent for high-speed, high-volume lines
  • Natural diamond (ND) — finest surface finish available
  • For fine & ultra-fine wire: gold, silver, copper, tungsten
  • Typical bore range Ø 0.015 – 1.20 mm
  • Mirror polish for superior wire surface quality
  • Ideal for enamelled & magnet wire
  • CVD diamond — 100% pure diamond material
  • Excellent thermal stability and consistent wear
  • Cost-effective alternative to natural diamond
  • Medium-fine wire and demanding continuous lines
  • Typical bore range Ø 0.03 – 1.5 mm

02 Die types

Round, shaped and special-profile dies

Beyond round dies, we manufacture the full family of drawing tooling your line may need.

Round Dies

The core product — for all wire, rod and tube sizes across materials.

Shaped Dies

Hex, rectangular, square, oval and custom profiles made to your drawing.

Stranding Dies

Compact and shape conductor bundles into round, tight strands.

Enamelling Dies

Precision dies for enamelled and magnet wire with clean finish.

Tinning & Bunching

Dies for tinning lines and bunching / stranding of fine wires.

Pipe & Bar Dies

Drawing dies for tubes, pipes and bars with stable geometry.

Shaving Dies

Surface-shaving dies that improve dimensional accuracy and finish.

Rework & Recutting

Repolishing and recutting that restore geometry and extend die life.

03 FAQ

Drawing die questions, answered

What material should I choose for my wire?
It depends on wire material, target size, draw speed and surface requirement. Send us your wire material, inlet and outlet diameter, and daily volume — we recommend TC, PCD, ND or CVD and confirm the bore profile before production.
Can you make custom and shaped profiles?
Yes. We make shaped, stranded, enamelling, tinning, shaving, bunching and pipe/bar dies, including special hex, rectangular and custom profiles made to your drawing or sample.
What is your minimum order and lead time?
MOQ is flexible — from a single prototype die to volume batches. Standard dies typically ship within 7–15 working days; custom and shaped profiles are confirmed case by case. We keep common TC/PCD blanks in stock for fast delivery.
Do you provide dies for stainless and high-carbon steel?
Yes. TC and CVD dies are well suited to stainless steel, high-carbon and alloy wire; PCD is preferred for copper, aluminium and non-ferrous drawing. We match the casing and bore finish to the material.
